Something Colourful…

October 17th, 2011

Something interesting I made with a sample of marbled rubber I had.  It’s a pen with the same basic dimensions as a Nox, but with a large single tone Sheaffer nib, a polished finish, and a neat little inlay (a circle of bronze inside a circle of ebonite) on the blind cap end.  I’d originally intended it to be for me, but a customer saw it, wanted it, and after reminding myself that I’m in business to SELL pens, not to collect them, that was that.  I can always make myself another one…  and hide it.

This particular rubber is gone, but I have a green and black marbled rubber and a red/orange and black wood-grain rubber.  Price:  $550  + shipping.
